The in-game book starts with only 12 of the 77 entries and grows as you play; per the community ID guide, a plant counts as identified for the achievement when you use it with a customer, elixir, or adventure. This page is the full checklist of all 77 names, so you can see which ones you still need. When you have a plant in front of you and are not sure which it is, the trait identifier narrows the list by the form, colour, and smell you can observe.
